TRAINING WITH NIKKI SMITH

Nikki has competed through the Three-Star level in Eventing and holds her USDF Bronze Medal in Dressage. Her experience across disciplines gives her a practical, well-rounded approach to developing both horse and rider. Nikki works with riders of various levels who want to improve their riding and develop a successful partnership with their horse. Her program emphasizes a systematic approach to training, while keeping the process fun and rewarding for both horse and rider.

Lessons and coaching are tailored to each rider, with an emphasis on strengthening fundamentals, developing clear communication, expanding understanding and skills and building confidence in the saddle. Riders are supported in pursuing their goals, whether that means improving their riding at home, deepening their partnership with their horse, or preparing for competition. Coaching support is available at the many recognized and schooling shows attended throughout the year in both Eventing and Dressage.

Professional training for horses takes a holistic approach, focusing on correct and thoughtful development, while prioritizing the horse’s health, happiness and confidence.
